The word workforce can mislead, so here is a plain version: AI agents, each of which takes one of the repeated desk jobs in your business, working inside the email, diary and messaging tools you already use.

It does not mean replacing the people you have. It means the repetitive parts of their day get done by software, and anything needing judgement goes to them.

A sales and lettings office, desk by desk

Farnham Direct lists 35 estate agents, nearly all in the town centre. An office like that has distinct desks even when only a few people sit at them:

• The enquiry desk. Portal and website enquiries arrive at all hours. One agent replies within minutes and asks the first useful question.
• The follow-up desk. Applicants who looked once and went quiet. Another agent keeps following up until they book a viewing or say no.
• The diary desk. Viewings booked, confirmed, and reminded.
• The money desk. Invoices raised and late payments chased.
• The reporting desk. A weekly summary of what came in and what is waiting.

Each is a job on his website’s list. Each could be built and tested separately.

Why separate agents

Splitting the work keeps each job simple to check. If the reminders are wrong, you know where to look. It also lets you begin small. He starts with the single task that makes the most difference, and adds others only if the first earns its place.

The route to getting one

His website sets out four steps: a free call, an audit of the work worth automating, the build and install, and training and support. After the first call you hold a plan you can use with or without him. It is not a course, not phone answering and not a chatbot product.

Be realistic

Everything an agent says should be approved by you in advance, and it should hand over anything it is unsure of. There is no published price.
